Transcom Technology was established in March 1998 in Perth Western Australia, as a part time computer systems and network integrator. Transcom Technology was run as a full time business from July 2000, when Brook Papworth, it's director left Logical Systems/Networks, as a Senior Engineer/Consultant to head up the company on a full time basis.   Transcom Technology are true specialists in Network Integration - the tying together of different vendors equipment and operating systems - focusing on the integration of network attached devices and their management.   Altough we do provide vendor independent consulting, when we implement consultative strategies, we believe that only best of breed solutions be commissioned, so as to provide the best reliability, performance, features to our clients.   Brook Papworth (MSCE, CNE, ASE Pro, CNTE) established the business as he discovered that there was a pressing need for good quality service in the industry as many "first tier" integrators had lost their customer and core product focus, as they went chasing after "bigger things", such as company share floats and BMW's. Brook is a strong believer in "Do unto others" and "if it looks to good to be true, it probably is" philosophy, and as such is a firm believer that one needs to seek out the best and yet cost effective technologies, and implement only these products.   We owe our business success to listening to our clients business needs, wants and concerns and making unbiased best of breed solutions to meet the client's business requirement and budget, rather than on forcing the vendors or our own sales agendas onto our clients.   The IT industry is a particularly high speed industry, where Vendor products quite often have a short shelf life. In fact many products, are often sold on Vendor sales hype, market projections and integrator / sales reward programs.   Vendors are increasingly attempting to build end user customer database systems, to flood end users of Small to Medium Enterprises (SME) and the Corporate Sector, with relentless marketing information.   That is where we are different, as we represent you, the client, when choosing core technology products to use in your business. Transcom Technology do use best of breed solutions, our aim is that of meeting the clients business requirements, and at the same time, protect them from unscrupulous sales campaigns and information overload.   Essentially, what we do is provide a unbiased consultative approach to questions you may have in your mind, such it worth spending my money on this service or product, or can I really get an advantage for using this in my business. We take a balanced approach to the short term gain and longer term benefits, as though it was our own company in the same situation.   We do not like re-inventing the wheel, so we don't. And we even can speak in plain english, and interpret techno talk for you.   How do we deal with new and perhaps unstable or premature products? Transcom Technology staff are kept up to date with the latest training, certification and information on "Blue Chip" vendor products.   Non core technology and the latest "bleeding edge" products are implemented in a controlled environment, as a client site pilot in co-operation with the Vendor. We attempt to involve and get the vendors full commitment to the project before it begins   All sales are referral based only, which means, basically our only method of selling is via word of mouth, that of existing relationships, and our website, which you probably were referred to.   Transcom Technology offers a number of Technically/Business focused products and services as: Permanent Internet Connections and Corporate Network Infrastructure Computer System and Network Security Auditing Point to Point Wireless Networking Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning Remote System Monitoring on certain systems.
